Easy Valentine's Day Class Party Ideas
If your a Madhouse Mom that sends in fun & cute treats for Holiday parties, then here are two of the ideas that I used this year. They were so easy because all I had to do was print them out! The kids cut everything out while I made the treats that required the oven! They were occupied and happy which made this madhouse mama enjoy this project so much more! Hope you enjoy it too! First Post.....
So I'm guessing this is where I'm supposed to introduce myself, and tell you all about me and why I'm posting a blog right!? Well that's not why I've decided to start a blog, because honestly nothing in my life seems to be about me! I'm a Madhouse Mom just like so many of us. What is a Madhouse Mom? Well, has anyone ever told you that you need to put cameras in your house because you could seriously have a T.V show? Or does anyone ever ask you how you can function with all the noise of your kids acting crazy, and your response is what noise!? Then you my friend are also a Madhouse Mom! We are those mamas that have a house that definitely looks lived in, and we devote most of our time, energy and money on creating the best childhood possible for our munchkins. I know there are more of us out there, and that is the reason for this blog. To find the other Madhouse Moms, and for all of us to have place to vent, rant, brag and build each other up when we are so exhausted and feel like we need a good cry in the shower! We are the moms who don't only have one mom title, we are Team Moms, Sports Moms, Classroom Moms, and we are mommin up anything we can! Where are the moms that put in the little extra, the ones that pull all nighters just to pull something off for a class party or a sports event? Where are the moms that would rather see their kids smiling and hear their laughter instead of making sure all the housework in done? Where are the moms that love having a house full of crazy kids, and laughing so hard with them you can't even breathe!? Where they at tho!?
Okay, so now I will tell you a smidge about who I am! My name is Caryn, I'm 29 (ugh) and I'm a mama of 3, and a wife for almost 8 years to my husband Haiman. My kids are Kayleigh is 11, David is 8 and Aiden is 7, but Its honestly hard for me to limit my amount of children to just my three. There are always kids at the house and they all become my children too. So really it's like I have let's say 3-10 children! I work full time for a Housing Authority, where my lunch breaks are usually devoted to working on projects for whatever sport is in season or whatever holiday is next! I love being crafty, and artistic. I'm always doing something new in my house to try to organize our piles of craziness! In the warmer months I open a space at a nearby Farmers Market, and sell furniture, and other goodies made by my husband. I get a break from that in the winter months thank goodness! If I had one wish in the world it would be to have more time. I never seem to have enough time to get everything done that I want to, and unfortunately our bodies need sleep so I try to get at least 4 hours a night. I'm not always successful at that though. My life is madness, my house is a madhouse, I'm always on the go, and I rarely am ever seen without a car full of madhouse kids! But life wouldn't be the same without it! I wouldn't trade it for anything in the world! I'm a proud Madhouse Mom... are you?
